is it a online cloud or a just a local cloud?
Dude, you're awesome!! Thank for sharing your knowledge =D
In my case it worked after the additional installation of php and required php modules. But thanks any way! You did very good video!
For some reason I can't paste either directly in console or through putty. Any suggestions?
i followed your tutorial from start to finish, but i was not golden. i could not type in the address and get the owncloud start page. i will try again with a different setup. i think that the problem is that i had just previously setup a FOG server on that same VM. i did not have another VM prepared and ready to do a brand new server. would a FOG installation mess up owncloud settings?
May I just install Ubuntu server on the computer directly? Why do I need to install a virtual machine? Thanks
thank you
it works!! awesome…. BUT it only works while I am in the same network 🙁 *so what happens if i want to be able to connect to my Machine while I am outsite.
TOP!

Unfortunately i am still searching video tutorial for installing Nextcloud ! Hope in the near future we can see another great video tutorial for you teaching us how to install Nextcloud !
Thanks !
Not everyone knows Windows actually now has " openssh- client/server" in case anyone is interested in using ssh straight from CMD like all the 'cool' Apple people do from their terminals in a lot of videos. It is so much more convenient to pop open CMD and simply type " ssh [email protected]" and its stupid easy to enable. Open start menu and type in "Manage optional features" then click " + add a feature" then scroll down until you see openssh and install that simple no more puTTy. puTTY is cool for other things though, mainly the menu on the side, giving you a graphical interface to setup tunnels.
IDidn't know u made a 2018 version, i'm new to your channel Lol. Here have a sub ;3
Why do you read like that? its super hard to focus when you emphasize every other word like that. Otherwise it was a decent video 😉
Restarting apache wasn't enough in my case, the usual apache page went away being replaced by owncloud only after rebooting the system.
Getting the following when opening my host OS browser (on IP 10.0.0.56)
I followed both videos and everything worked up until here.. any help?
