  2. "All in one WP migration tool" does nothing. Buttons are not clickable once installed. Kind of a waste of time.
Their support forums are full of similar issues – it's alpha software at best.

  3. Thanks so much for this tutorial and I'm very grateful. One question for you.
Can I add another domain just like we normally do with any regular hosting?
How about CPANEL or do we have access to FTP?
I'm not able to see PHPMyAdmin.
Thanks for helping us out with this.

  4. Is anyone else having trouble on the last step?
I can't seem to copy and paste, or even type the password in Azure Cloud shell.

  5. I have a site on wordpress that is for online courses. The videos are hosted on Vimeo Pro. The site is on HostGator. Do you recommend migrating it to Azure? The site is growing. Thanks for the reply

  6. Great video! How about a video that compares WordPress hosting on AWS vs. Azure vs. Google (performance, price, reliability, administration, updates, support, backups). Thanks.

  7. i'm not really in the business of voicing out my negative feedbacks…but this one has to be voiced out for other inxperience DIY to avoid what i experienced in the process of migrating my the website i've spent about a 1000 bucks including undocumented hours of sleepless night on. I ended up having to start it all over again because i did not have enough information that should be the beginning of this video. For the total beginner like myself that trying to save money by means of DIY. make sure you have more knowledge before you follow the instruction in this vide. the video if good but not for the beginner that expect everything are the way way they appeared. make sure you start from your current app platform and do all the necessary settings from your current host before starting the migrating process. Sorry for my choice of words. Good luck!

  8. Is it possible to create the WP site on azure then move the existing site and then apply the domain. I want to use the same domain name but I do not want to take the other site down until the new one is up and running smoothly.

  9. Thanks. I need to move several wp sites from a vps to azure where I have everything thing else. Perhaps you can discuss mx records with the domain section. Personally, still having a hard time trying to form an image of what azure really is. But, if I create a vps on azure for hosting can I create multiple wp domains there?

  10. What a lot of value there is in your video, I congratulate you for that.
Can you explain how to configure the HTTPS protocol?

  11. Hi! Great Intro. Thank you. Question: Is this considered as a PaaS install? Reason is i saw you still access the VM. My main intention is just to manage the wordpress site and leave the patching/hardening (VM & DB) to service provider.
