GCP Cloud DNS: Point your GoDaddy domain name to a Google Cloud Instance.
This video shows you how to connect your domain name to a google cloud instance.

In cloud computing, a static IP address is used for DNS queries. If IPs are changing, this can affect the content loading process. Static IP addresses are IPs which do not change.

01:14 – Create zone in Network services, Cloud DNS.
02:08 – 03:12 Create the record for IPv4 (create the record for IPv6) to address hostname to IP address.
03:14 – 03:53 Create the CName canonical name – alias names for subdomain www.
03:54 – Copy Data and put it into GoDaddy network services. Substitute GoDaddy name services to our own name services.
04:40 – 05:42 – Install Nginx to Google Cloud server instance
05:43 – 06:08 – Go to the domain name page to check if we pointed GoDaddy domain name to a Google Cloud Instance. If we see the default Nginx default page it means everything works correctly.
