Creat a free Online Virtual Machine with Google Cloud

In this video, i will show you, how to create a “virtual machine” with Google Cloud.

Sign in into Google Cloud account, You can do it with a Gmail account.

Now click on console

Go to Compute engines

then choose the VM instances

Fill the necessary details

Choose the operating system for you VM

I have choosed “windows server 2016”

Click on Create, and now you have a online VM with live IP address

You can access it from anywhere

For accessing a virtual machine you required IP address, user name and password

You can download the file for access the remote machine with remote desktop

open the remote desktop connection on windows

open the file in desktop app, you downloaded from cloud VM and you able to connect.

Ooh if you have issue, it mean you dont generated the password for VM. you are required generate the password for newly created virtual machine

Once you generated your user name and password

add the user name in remote desktop app and click on connect

it will ask you for password

and you are in

  1. I looked at it, and it said only had Windows Server Datacenter. How can you run a Windows 10 desktop, so you can remote into it and have your home desktop with Steam and music, etc?

  2. neat trick but theres not enough space to run eclipse with all of its libraries or intellij an all the tools needed to practically program on it without paying monthly also you cant use this at the library or any other terminal because admins lock your ability to install anything on to theyre machine. if youd tried to bypass that option by trying to run an os on a stick to bypass the libraries ability to disallow you to install on theyre machine. you may loose access to theyre wireless network. however if you do run an os on a stick on the libraries machine and they have wifi i could see this working.
